Brunch at The Ivy Bath Brasserie, Bath

We recently were invited to the new Ivy Bath Brasserie to try out their breakfast and brunch menu - exciting!

If you haven't been to the Ivy before, it is a sophisticated, relaxed dining style restaurant which is located on Milsom street (map below) and open all-day. The interiors are absolutely beautiful and the menus have been curated to offer a mix of both modern British comfort food as well as international dishes.

What we ordered
  • Hot buttermilk pancakes with strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and Greek yoghurt, lemon balm and a warm strawberry sauce (we both got these, we love pancakes)
  • Mini breakfast pastries with butter & preserves
  • Green juice (avocado, mint, celery, spinach, apple and parsley)
  • Power Up juice (wheat grass, pineapple, papaya and orange)

Our thoughts

The Ivy had a great choice of breakfast items on their menu ranging from a full English breakfast to a gluten-free vegan crushed avocado on toast - something for everyone.

Our buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and topped with delicious fresh fruit and the pastries were perfectly crispy. They were approved by my French friend so they must have been authentic - the true test 😉.

All of the food was lovely. Paired with beautiful interiors and attentive staff, we said that the Ivy Bath Brasserie was bound to become Bath's latest trendy restaurant and a hot spot for Sunday brunch - and we were right!
