Our thoughts
We started with the pork spring rolls and the tofu and water chestnut crispy dumplings. The spring rolls had strong flavours of mint and coriander and the tofu dumplings were very flavourful, particularly paired with the chutney sauce. The tofu was great as it wasn't stiff or soggy like it sometimes can be. The chilli sauce was great but beware because it's very hot 🚨🌶.
Then we moved onto the pho and decided to go for both the beef and the tofu (vegan).
The beef pho had a great herb-infused, tasty broth. So good that we could have eaten just the broth itself! The tofu pho had a sweeter taste thanks to the soya sauce and the tofu was well-cooked and, once again, not chewy.
If you do get pho, make sure to add a squeeze of lime juice onto it as it gives the dish a great flavour. Both pho were good but our favourite was definitely the tofu one.
