Where to Have Breakfast and Brunch in Bath, England | BATH FOOD GUIDE

Our for Sunday brunch? Want a good place for breakfast? Here are some of the best places the city has to offer 🌻.

Cafe au Lait

A family-run, independent coffee house serving a range of breakfasts (including vegan & gluten-free pancakes). The halloumi fries are incredible. Click here for our review.

12-14 Dorchester Street

Good Day Cafe

A sweet, independent cafe with pink interiors and super doggo-friendly vibes. Our favourite is the banana bread - seriously, try it! 🍌 Click here for our review.

12 Upper Borough Walls

Beckford Bottle Shop

Usually a wine bar serving delicious small plates, Beckford Bottle Shop opens its doors on Sunday to serve a range of small brunch dishes. It's absolutely incredible and we would highly recommend everything that we ordered here.

5 Savile Row

Cafe Walcot

A light and airy space in Walcot House, serving delicious breakfasts - our favourite is the avocado toast with halloumi 😋 Click here for our review.

90B Walcot Street

Wild Cafe

Simple food made with quality ingredients in a cosy cafe. If you get the avocado toast make sure to ask for it without butter as they add this for some reason 🤷🏼‍♀️.

10a Queen Street

The Ivy Bath Brasserie

Brunch in a fancier setting. Click here for our review.

39 Milsom Street

Boston Tea Party

One of our firm favourites serving an extensive range of breakfast items served all day. Some of our favourites include the avo toast and the sweetcorn fritters.

8 Alfred Street (large) & Kingsmead Square (smaller with more outdoor seating)

Same-Same But Different

A family-run business with a great breakfast menu & great prices to match.

7a Prince's Buildings, Bartlett Street

The Kingsmead Kitchen

Formerly known as the Jazz Cafe, the Kingsmead Kitchen serves cooked breakfasts all day, including their famous shakshuka.

Kingsmead Square (as the name would suggest)

Adventure Cafe Bar

An independent cafe serving triple certified organic coffee and "hangover soaking breakfasts" until noon. They have a great outdoor seating area!

5 Princes Buildings, George Street

The Green Rocket Cafe 🌱

A multi-award-winning vegetarian & vegan cafe serving everything from tofu scramble full English breakfasts to smoothie bowls with edible petals.

1 Pierrepont Street

Thoughtful Bakery

An independent bakery & bakery school serving breakfast on their award-winning bread. They have a more limited breakfast menu, and if you don't end up going there for breakfast I'd highly recommend buying their bread (their rye is amazing), as well as checking out their sweet treats including doughnuts on Thursdays.

19 Barton Street

Sweet Little Things

A beautifully decorated tea room and bakery serving an array of sweet treats and smoothie bowls. You might have seen their flower wall on instagram! Click here for our review.
