Bath's Newest Healthy Cafe: Vital Café

Class is a new boutique fitness place at the Riverside development (down by the big Sainsburys) with its very own healthy food cafe, Vital Café. It's full of healthy, nutritious options such as smoothie bowls, soups, snacks and sandwiches.

Whether you're going to a class, finishing a class or not going to a class at all (aka me), it's a great place to find delicious food.

What we ordered
  • Red pepper goats cheese sandwich
  • Balance smoothie bowl (pink)
  • Elevate smoothie bowl (orange)
  • High-protein brownie

Our thoughts

Starting with the smoothie bowls, these were both great. They were really yummy as well as aesthetically pleasing and weren't too expensive. You could also opt to have the same smoothie put into a cup so good for on-the-go eating/drinking.

The balance smoothie bowl had raspberries, blueberries, lime, cinnamon, coconut water and chia seeds. The elevate smoothie bowl had mango, orange, banana, fresh ginger, chilli and raspberries in it. We loved both but I think we preferred the balance one (pink).

The red pepper and goats cheese open sandwich was one of our favourites, and it was topped with balsamic strawberries. So delicious and something a little bit different.

The high-protein brownie was really gooey but felt pretty healthy, perfect for satisfying a chocolate craving.

The staff were so so lovely, showing us around the space and allowing us to try some delicious healthy options. Not at all what we expected from a boutique fitness place haha! We would highly, highly recommend this place. Always great to have somewhere closer to Oldfield Park that does healthy smoothie bowls.

We will definitely be back.

If you can't find Vital Cafe on google maps, just type in "Class Bath", and you should find it (there's also a map below).

  1. Hi,

Thank you for sharing this great recipe full of proteins. It's essential for all of us to eat natural food, which contains calcium, proteins, and vitamins.

Moringa oleifera is a natural plant which has more calcium than milk and more vitamin A than carrots. Pure moringa powder is very beneficial for:

    Skin-related issues
    Hair health
    Bones health
    Cholesterol level
    Brain health
    Liver health
    Stomach health
    Joint inflammation
    Diabetes
    Cancer
    Muscles growth
    Increasing breast milk production

In short, moringa is rich in antioxidants and reduces joint inflammation. Plus calcium, phosphorus, vitamins, and iron present in this food is very good for improving your overall health.

So it's always better and risk-free to eat natural food so you can reduce the possibilities of diseases and maintain a healthy life.
