Bath's Rooftop Restaurants & Bars | BATH FOOD GUIDE

As the weather starts to warm up, sitting on a rooftop with a view of the city & a spritz, glass of wine or a beer in hand seems like the perfect thing to do.

Because Bath is such a historic town, a lot of the buildings are listed and therefore have strict planning permission so not many have rooftops. That being said, here are five that are definitely worth visiting 🍷😘.

Hall & Woodhouse

Definitely a firm favourite in the Bath community, and one of the most popular for a drink in the sunny months. It gets very, very busy so make sure to either get their early or be prepared to stand.

1 Old King Street

Graze

Traditionally known for its steaks, Graze has a great balcony overlooking Southgate.

9 Brunel Square

The Ivy Bath Brasserie

A few months after The Ivy opened in Bath, they revealed their rooftop dining area. Unfortunately, they have a policy that you can't just order drinks - you need to order food too. If you don't want a full-on meal, you can get around this by ordering some nibbles (bread, olives, truffle arancini etc.) to come with the drinks. Definitely get the truffle arancini!

39 Milsom Street
££

The Mint Room

A brilliant Indian restaurant with a champagne terrace that opened at the end of 2017.

Lower Bristol Road

The New Inn

This well-known pub has recently undergone a refurbishment and now has a new kitchen - the rooftop area is great!

23-24 Monmouth Place
