Drinks at Nook Garden at The Bird Hotel, Bath

Given an exceptional bank holiday weather forecast along with the prospect of trying a new outdoor drinks spot in Bath, we were thrilled to be invited to pop-up Nook Garden at the Bird Hotel this weekend. ⛱

Sitting at the end of the Recreation ground (on Pulteney Road), the Bird Hotel offers a city centre location with unique interiors. The Nook Garden (open until 29 September) is at the back of the hotel and is a peaceful, secluded setting for summer drinks with charming views out over Bath.

Coming inside to order drinks, we got a glimpse of the hotel's quirky decor - a ceiling lined with colourful branches and birds, finished with an impressive chandelier.

Peach Daiquiri - rum, peach pรปrรฉe, lime juice and sugar ๐Ÿ‘ [£8]
Aperol Spritz - aperol, soda water and prosecco ๐ŸŠ [£8]

The cocktail list isn't extensive, but both drinks were well made, and were the perfect addition to this sunny day.

Nook Garden also has a large selection of other drinks such as white, red, rose and sparkling wines, beers and a range of spirits and mixers. They also have nine different gins to choose from if you fancy a G&T!

๐ŸŒŸ The garden itself is decorated with big plants, low-level seating, beanbags and delightful parasols. As the sun sets, the lanterns adorning the central tree begin to glow, making it a really lovely place to enjoy a drink as the day turns into evening. Perfect for golden hour.

๐Ÿคต๐Ÿป Very friendly staff.
