Dog-Friendly Restaurants, Pubs & Cafes in Bath | BATH FOOD GUIDE

Time and time again we've been asked for Bath's best dog-friendly restaurants, pubs and cafes. Luckily for canine lovers in the city, there are lots of places to choose from - and why not? You should be able to enjoy a family meal with all of your family members, including your pooches. 🐕

Here are a couple of our favourite places to eat and drink. At the end, we've included a couple of our favourite dog-friendly hotels in and around Bath just in case.

Bath Brew House

With both inside and al fresco dining options, Bath Brew House is great in the summer months when they put on summer BBQs with lots of drinks, food, games, music and sunshine ☀️. Not to mention, it has an on-site brewery perfect for those who love their beer.

The Hare & Hounds

With a name like this, it would be hard not to be a dog-friendly pub. With one of the most gorgeous views down into the valley and excellent food to match, we always recommend The Hare & Hounds when asked where to eat. Bonus: it's also super child-friendly! We would highly recommend the sharing boards (pictured) and the beef burger. Click here for a full review.

Society Cafe

Many of you probably already go to Society Cafe for your caffeine fix or to do some work. Our personal favourite is their oatly oat milk iced coffee in summer - so so good! Next time, bring your dog with you. 🐕

P.S. If you are studying or doing work there, remember to share tables and to keep topping up your coffee - you could also try some of their delicious cake.

The Marlborough Tavern

We love the Marlborough Tavern so much! One of Bath's most popular pubs, it had a menu makeover a few years ago when they changed their Head Chef. Marrying classic pub favourites with a couple of oriental-inspired dishes, it's a must-do for food (and dog) lovers. Click here for a full review.

Colonna & Smalls

The go-to place for coffee lovers and connoisseurs. Every day they have different blends to choose from with various tasting notes, which the knowledgeable staff can guide you through. They focus on how region, variety, processing, roast and brew methods affect taste. It's also a super light and airy, minimalist space that's really calming.

Boston Tea Party

We had to include this on the list! It's one of our firm favourites in Bath, serving an extensive range of breakfast items all day. Some of our favourites include the avo toast and the sweetcorn fritters. They also do non-breakfast food throughout the day too.
