Takeaway Dinner from Magu Diner, Bath

As one of Bath’s favourite burger joints, it's no surprise that they've stayed open to still provide takeout services to the people of Bath. We've reviewed them before (click here to read 👈🏼), but this time we got to try a few different items on their menu as well as their vegan burger!

All American Smash (smashed beef patty, double cheese, lettuce, gherkin, fried onion, ketchup, mustard, Magu sauce) 🍔 [£6.25]⁣

Delicious, meaty & incredibly moreish in a soft, sesame seed bun. This is one of their classic burgers and, just like last time, we absolutely loved their Magu sauce. The meat is sourced from a local farmer in Gloucestershire & wasn’t greasy at all.

The Clean Bandit (vegan patty, Mexican seitan chilli, avocado ‘mayo’, red onion, ‘cheese’, jalapeño salsa, lettuce, gherkins & chimichurri in a seeded bun) 🍔 ⁣[£11]

This was our favourite. It wasn’t too salty and felt ‘meaty’ in texture (despite being vegan). It was packed full of flavour and had a nice spice to it. The textures were also great from the soft patty to the crunchy gherkins and the zingy jalapeños. A great option, not only for vegans!

Curly fries 🍟 [£4.20]⁣

These were delicious, thick and a little different to your average chip.
Sweet potato fries 🍟  [£4.20]⁣

Once again, these were delicious and topped with lovely sea salt. If you haven’t seasoned your food with sea salt before, you’re missing out!

Oreo milkshake & caramel milkshake 🥤 [£3.50 per milkshake, 50p extra for oreo]⁣

Both of these were super thick, indulgent and didn’t taste overly processed or sugary which was nice.

Once again, we were thoroughly impressed with Magu. They’ve got a long list of inventive burgers, including one with Mac & cheese, one with blue cheese truffle mayo and even one with biscoff spread (yum). ⁣
🚚 Delivery via Deliveroo, Just Eat & Magu's own website & app.
💰 £-££. The meat burgers are great value for money, although the fries are a little more on the expensive side.
