Dinner at Eight, Bath

Eight is a small, independent townhouse hotel with a lovely restaurant, combining modern cutting-edge cuisine with affordable pricing. Their small-medium sized dishes change seasonally & it always has a list of 10 different small plates with a mix of veggie, meat & fish options. We were recently invited to try it out.

Dinner at Giraffe, Bath

Giraffe have a new menu from a range of different cuisines! They’re still very family-friendly (they have a great kids menu), but they also now have £5 cocktails & a bottomless brunch too. We were kindly invited to try out their new menu.

We got seated and decided to order some of their all day every day £5 cocktails. We went for their 'Spiced Punch' which was Havana spiced rum, pineapple juice, guava juice, orange juice & lime. It was fruity, refreshing & far too easy to drink! We also went for the 'Smokey Cuban' which was Havana 7 year rum, triple sec & ginger ale. The ginger gave the cocktail a lovely punch & warmth.

Lunch at The Pantry, The Bath Priory Hotel & Spa, Bath

Although just a few minutes from Victoria Park, The Bath Priory feels like a peaceful oasis & a refuge from the busy city. Although known for its very lovely (and pricey) hotel rooms & formal restaurant, ‘The Pantry’ offers a more accessible menu which is perfect for outdoor dining in their lovely garden.
